Patricia Heard

Patricia Heard of Caro, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. She was born June 11, 1932 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Carl and Lillian (Ennis) Reuther. On October 24, 1953, Patricia was united in marriage with Robert Heard. He preceded her in death in 2004. Patricia was a loving mother and homemaker. She was of the Lutheran faith, and an active member of the Women of the Moose, Caro Chapter #940. Patricia enjoyed playing golf, travel and reading. She is survived by three children and their spouses, Daniel & Marilyn Heard of Higgins Lake, John & Denise Heard of Wheatridge, Colorado, and Linda Matuszak of Caro; ten grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; one brother and his wife, Richard & Mary Reuther of Farwell; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Michael Heard; one sister and her husband, Barbara & Gene Guettler; and a son-in-law, Michael Matuszak. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Cameron Steele officiating.
