Patricia L. Hurren, age 62, of Meade Twp. near Elkton died Monday morning, October 8, at her home following a four year fight with cancer.
She was born June 27, 1945 in Detroit to the late Manley and Gertrude (Eckaret) Terry.
Patricia moved to Huron County from Standish in 1984. She was united in marriage to Gary W. Hurren, September 1, 1984 in Bad Axe.
Patricia was a homemaker most of her married life. She enjoyed crocheting, needle point and putting the finishing touches on her husband's wood crafts. She also enjoyed going to flea markets, and craft and antiques shows, where they would market the products they had created.
Surviving are her husband, Gary; five children, Sherry (Robert) Lunberg of Jacksonville, AR, Phil (Judy) Brooks of White Pine, TN, Lori (James) Johnson of Kingston, TN, Michelle (Mike) Gordon of Yukon, OK and Gary (Lori) Hurren of Guthrie, OK; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; in-laws, Bill and Helen Hurren of Sterling; four brothers, John (Sharon) Terry of Waterford, Dick (Sally) Terry of Harrison, Chuck Terry of Pontiac and Jim (Marilyn) Terry of North Branch; her sister, Sally Franklin of Decatur, TN; six sisters-in-law, Sandy (Mike) Radomski of Filion, Bonnie Terwilliger of Bad Axe, Kathy (Pete) Basinger of Sterling, Debbie (John) Murdick of Bay Port, Janet Lubeski of Filion and Tina (Jim) Leppek of Bad Axe; three brothers-in-law, Bill (Cheryl) Hurren of Ubly, Paul (Carolyn) Hurren of White Lake and Charlie (Dawn) Hurren of Caseville and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, October 11, at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Elkton.
