Patricia M. Kellermann of Elkton died Thursday morning, August 17, at St. John Hospital, Detroit after a long battle with Lymphoma.
She was born March 15, 1934 in Duluth, Minnesota to Mary (Buckley) McCauley and the late Woodrow McCauley.
Pat moved to the Detroit area with her parents in her youth. She would vacation in the Thumb during the summer where she met Robert L. Kellermann. They married June 30, 1956 at St. Paul Episcopal Church, Bad Axe.
After raising her children, she and Bob did an extensive amount of traveling. She also traveled on a bicycle across the U S A, but that wasn’t enough. She cycled all over Europe and parts of Asia. She cycled in Cuba and other countries. Pat was a member of the Thumb Runabouts and had walked or ran in many cancer crusades. She had also completed five marathons. In her free time she volunteered at Scheurer Long Term and Country Bay in Pigeon.
Surviving are her husband, Bob; three children, Kimberly Kellermann and her husband, Joe Kaman of Oceanside, CA, Scott Kellermann of West Ellis, WS and Markle Kellermann of Macomb; her mother, Mary Gallander of Detroit and her brother, Thomas McCauley and his wife, Shirley of Redford. Preceding her in death was a sister, Mary Jo Human.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, August 21, at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton with burial in the Riverside Cemetery, Elkton.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 9 PM Sunday and after 10 AM Monday.
