Patricia Ann Kuhl (Pat), age 89, of Sebewaing, passed away on January 9, 2024 at Brian's House in Essexville, MI surrounded by her loving family.
Pat was born to Franklin and Mina (Gotham) Burgett on October 26, 1934 in Deckerville, MI. She is survived by her husband Ron Kuhl (Sebewaing); three daughters- Debra Jackson (Bay City), Diane Jackson (Saginaw), and Sharon Jackson (Sebewaing); five grandchildren- Carissa Smith (Bay City), Shamar Colon (Milwaukee, WI), Erin Welton (Bay City), Melissa Geiseman (Raleigh, NC), and Tyler Jackson (Grand Rapids); seven great grandchildren- Eric, Elijah, Jaden, Sophie, Olive, Opal and Mazie; and two brothers; William Burgett (Bay City) and James Burgett (Sebewaing).
Pat was more than just the matriarch of her family; she was the glue that held them together through the ups and downs of life. She was tough as nails and played the hand she was dealt with incredible resilience. Many holidays you would find her in the kitchen, cooking delicious meals and hosting her daughters and their families. Pat was extremely charismatic, funny, fierce, competitive, and sassy. She loved to play dice, garden, cook, and try her luck at the slot machines. Her grandkids and great grandkids were the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Raymond Jackson; her daughter, Edna Jackson; and her siblings- Frank Burgett, Donald Burgett, Lynn Burgett, Thelma Fenauer, Betty Griggs, Marie Quintel, Bonnie Owens, Russ Burgett and Duane Burgett.
The visitation and service will be Monday, January 15, 2024, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 9am-11am with the service at 11am Fr. Pare' will be officiating. Burial will be private at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Sebewaing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Shriners Hospital, St. Jude Children's Hospital, Brian's House (Essexville) or Wounded Warrior Project.
