Patricia Elaine Lentner

Patricia Elaine Lentner, age 64, of Sebewaing, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Covenant (Cooper) Hospital in Saginaw.

Patty was born December 27, 1953, in Sebewaing, to Vivian (Deming) and Glenn Higgins and Oscar Gotham. She married David Lentner in October of 2002. He preceded her in death March 2014. Patty's dream was to become a nurse. She became a licensed LPN in 1988. After caring for her parents, she knew geriatric care was where she wanted to be, and worked at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro. She continued to work, battling through her cancer because of the love of what she did. She would love on her patients like they were her family, while running a tight ship with her nurses. Retiring in March 2017 was one of the toughest decisions she had to make. In her free time, Patty loved to read, knit and sew.

Surviving Patty are her daughter and son-in-law, Vicki (Eric) Crumby of Caro; grandchildren: Kaitlyn Ann and Zachary Glenn Crumby; sister, Ann (Don) Ward of Bellville; many nieces, nephews, cousins and longtime friends.

Preceded Patty in death are her husband, David; parents, sisters: Violet Sloan and Mary Fader; and brother, Glenn Lorentz.

The family would like to thank the ICU department at Covenant (Cooper) for their special care in Patty's last days. We would also like to thank our close family and neighbors for looking out for Patty in the years since Dave's passing.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 25, 2018, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-8pm.

The funeral will be Friday, January 26, 2018, at the funeral home.

Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will be at St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery in Sebewaing.

Memorials may be given to the family.
