Patricia Helen Mccormick

Patricia H. McCormick, 82, of Caseville, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac.

Patti was born January 7, 1939 in Detroit to the late Gordon and Isabel (Turnbull) Down. She graduated from Detroit McKenzie High School in 1957. She married Ronald McCormick on May 2, 1986 at St. Roch Catholic Church in Caseville.

She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish and the Caseville Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and the local charms of living in Caseville like sunsets and Cheeseburger. She loved reading mystery novels and Scripture.

Patti is survived by her husband Ronald; children George Michael Trapp of Florida and Cynthia (Mike) Dufty; grandchildren Terri Lee, Patrick, Matthew and Rachel; step daughters Michelle (Steve) Louwers of Caseville and Missy (Dirk) DeBoer of Midland; step-grandchildren Christopher, Chase, Dalton and Delaney; brother Bruce (Donna) McCormick of Caseville and sister Barbara (Ronald) Celano of Milford. She was preceded in death by her son Gordon Trapp, brother Stanley Down, and sister Marion Dohring.

A funeral mass will be 11:00am Wednesday, March 17th at St. Roch Catholic Church with Rev. Robert Pare presiding. Urn interment will be in St. Roch Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00am Wednesday in church. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
