Patricia J. Rujan

Patricia June Rujan, age 86, formerly of Caseville, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Meadow Lane Assisted Living in Bad Axe.

Patricia was born in Redford Township on May 24, 1937, to Ernie and Vera (nee Ralph) Bonser. She graduated from Redford Union High School. On February 7, 1959, she married Wesley Rujan in Detroit. Patricia enjoyed being a homemaker, caring for her 4 children. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching game shows on TV, playing board games and cards, fishing with her family, embroidery and sewing.

Patricia is survived by her children: June (Edwin) Dyjak of Milford, Wesley (Barb) Rujan of Munith, Richard (Patty) Rujan of Tawas and Timothy (April) Rujan of Bay Port; grandchildren: Sara (Brandon) Gould, Kayla Schweitzer, Katie Schweitzer, Stephanie (Kraig) Barritt, Brian (Corrina) Rujan, Eric (Amber) Rujan, Justin Rujan, Ellie Rujan and Nicholas Rujan; great grandchildren: Sophia, James, Ver and Shawn; and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wesley and siblings: Marilyn McKenzie, Ralph Bonser and Robert Bonser.

Visitation is Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-8pm.

Funeral service is Thursday, October 26, 2023 at St. Johns Lutheran Church (Kilmanagh). Visitation at the church begins at 10am until the time of service at 11am. Pastor Thom Garrison will be officiating.

Burial will be at Grandlawn Cemetery in Pigeon.

Memorial donations may be given to St. Johns Lutheran Church.
