Patricia K. Schroeder

Patricia K. Schroeder, age 64, of Sand Point, formerly of Rochester, died Monday, March 28, 2005 in Lapeer County of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Patricia was born March 12, 1941 in Wyandotte to the late Charles and Mary (Dominguez) Yoder. She married Roger H. Schroeder on July 9, 1960 in Allen Park. Pat has vacationed in the Caseville area since her childhood and moved to Sand Point permanently in 2000. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, quilting, and skiing. She was a member of a golf league at Hidden Harbor Golf Course and the Quilt Guild in Pigeon. Pat was a proud breast cancer survivor and supported others who still struggled with the disease.

Patricia is survived by her husband Roger; daughter Cris (Steven) Platto of Rochester, son Kurt (Sharon) of Davisburg and son-in-law Edward Westrick of China, Michigan; grandchildren Dillon, Kirsten, Griffin, Leah, Edward, and Michelle; and brothers Chuck (Chris) Yoder of Ft. Myers, Florida and Bob Yoder of Taylor. She was preceded in death by her daughter Wendy Westrick on July 19, 2004.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 2, 2005 at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Caseville. Burial will be in the Caseville Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-8 PM Thursday and Noon-8PM Friday. Memorials may be made to the Breast Cancer 3-Day.
