Patricia M. Schwalm, 80, of Caseville, died Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at her home under hospice.
Patricia was born May 25, 1937 in Detroit to the late James and Elizabeth (Langley) Kelly and moved to Huron County with her family at 5 years of age. She was a graduate of Caseville Schools. On November 7, 1954, she was united in marriage to Gale Schwalm at the Caseville Methodist Church.
Patricia was a farm wife like no other, worked horses, drove tractor, milked cows, baled hay, all while raising three children. She sang in the church choir many years and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, puzzles and playing Aggravation.
Surviving is her husband of 63 years, Gale; daughters, Cindy Langley of Pigeon and Pam Christner of Caseville; grandchildren, Jason, Chris, Matt, Rebecca, Jamie and Kayla; great-grandchildren, McKenna, Mariah, Colin, Brady, Ashton, Madalynn, Brantley, Aleeya and Aubrey. Preceding her in death was her son, Randy; great-granddaughter, Nora Mae Stefan and sister, Shirley Kraft.
Private services will be Saturday, March 10 th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Elkton with Rev. Karen Bouverette officiating and burial in the Caseville Township Cemetery.
