Patricia A. Tucker

Patricia A. Tucker was born in Detroit, MI, to William and Ruth (Crawford) Campbell on November 5, 1936 and passed into the arms of Jesus on February 25, 2022. She lived in Onaway, MI, until heading to college. She studied nursing at Wayne State University and Grace Hospital and began a lifelong career as a registered nurse. Patricia married Herbert L. "Hap" Tucker on March 27, 1960, in Onaway, MI. Their marriage was a picture of devoted love and commitment. They were blessed with five children. Patricia devoted her life to loving and serving people. She gave herself entirely to her family, patients, community, church, and anyone else she encountered. She had an extraordinary ability to radiate love for everyone. The foundation of Patricia's life was her faith in Jesus Christ. She held firmly to that faith until her last breath. She was confident of her place in Heaven through the grace of God and the promises of Jesus. Her family and friends anxiously await a heavenly reunion with her. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, and her grandson, Nicholas. Her five children survive her: William (Julie), Patricia (Rob Gainer) Tucker, Lisa (Chip) Yaple, Leslie Tucker, Edward (Kari) Tucker; eight grandchildren (and spouses and fiances); and one great-granddaughter. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His faithful servants.” Psalm 116:15 Memorial gifts may be made to the organization of your choice.
