Patrick Donald Kothe
Patrick D. Kothe, age 64, of Sebewaing, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Tendercare Nursing Home in Cass City.
Pat was born February 16, 1950 in Pigeon to Donald Kothe and the late Genevieve (Stapleton) Kothe. After high school, Pat joined the US Navy and served during the Vietnam era on the USS Davidson. He loved horses, goats, tinkering in his workshop, and building bird houses. He worked many years at Sebewaing Industries.
Pat is survived by his father and step mother, Donald (Anna) Kothe; son, Donald (Marlena) James Kothe "DJ"; sister, Nancy (Tim) Reynolds; nieces & nephews: Nicholas Reynolds, Ryan (Ashley) Reynolds and Courtney Reynolds.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Genevieve Kothe.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-8pm with an evening vigil service.
The funeral service will be Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.
Burial will take place at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Sebewaing.
Memorial donations may be given to Diem Country Acres, 6787 Sender Rd., Chesaning, MI 48616 (his assisted living home) or to the family.
