Patrick Dennis Kubiak

Patrick Dennis Kubiak, 71, of Pigeon, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Hurley Hospital in Flint. Born on April 6, 1953, in Dearborn, he was the son of the late Sylvester and Helen (Zakalata) Kubiak. A graduate of Owen-Gage High School, Patrick went on to become a skilled welder, working at Evan Products in Gagetown. He had a deep love for animals and held a special place in his heart for each one. Patrick was also an avid gardener and took great care of Syl’s fruit trees. Always active, he was never one to sit idle, constantly seeking out the next task to complete.

Patrick is survived by his children Christina, and Helen; siblings, Michael Kubiak, Syl (Cheri) Kubiak, and Daniel Kubiak; brother-in-law, Bill Emery; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Patrick was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Sylvester Kubiak; sisters, Kathleen Emery and Jean (Steve) Downing; sister-in-law, Katrina Kubiak.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Champagne Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be held in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to the wishes of the family, c/o Sylvester Kubiak.
