Patrick Lee O'Connors

Patrick Lee O’Connors, age 57, of Caseville, died Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at his cabin on Bodi Lake, near Newberry, Michigan.

Patrick was born May 25, 1950 in Pigeon to the late Skip and June Conners. He graduated from Caseville High School in 1968. He spent the next four years in the US Air Force, serving one year in Thailand.

On September 16, 1978 he married Susan Krebs at St. Felix Catholic Church in Pinnebog. He moved to Dearborn and worked at Ford-Rouge as a millwright. In 1987 he returned to Caseville.

Patrick was a member of the Newberry Eagles. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin the the U.P., hunting, fishing, being outdoors, collecting antiques, traveling and most of all, spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Susan; brother Mick (Lynn) Conners and sister Colleen (Paul) Poisson, all of Caseville; step-father Howard Bedford of Pigeon; nieces and nephews Michelle (Steve) Norkiewicz, Shawn Conners, Matt and Jessie K. Poisson, and Ben (Suzette), Sarah, Lorrie, Scott, Lisa, John Marvin and Matthew Krebs; great niece and nephews Amanda June and Michael Allen Norkiewicz and Camron Krebs.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 1, 2007 at the Bay Theatre in Caseville, followed by military honors presented by the Caseville American Legion. Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville is handling the arrangements.
