Patrick Stephen Orzel

Patrick S. Orzel, age 56, of Sebewaing, passed away November 14, 2018, at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.

Patrick was born on November 17, 1961, in Bad Axe, to Victor C. and Geraldine P. (Schulz) Orzel. As a child, Patrick served as an Alter Boy and was a member of the Boy Scouts. He graduated from Gwinn High School in 1980, then attended Northern Michigan University and received an Associates Degree in heavy equipment. Patrick enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, watching the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers and Detroit Tigers. He also enjoyed shooting trap and skeet.

Patrick is survived by his parents, Victor and Geraldine Orzel; children: Elizabeth (Jesse) Merrick, Jamie (Megan) Koss and Sara Orzel; brother, Anthony Orzel; and grandchildren: Saydee, Noah, Colten, Savanah and Andrew.

Visitation will be Friday, November 16, 2018, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-8pm with an evening scripture service.

The funeral service will be Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Our Lady Consolata Catholic Church (Holy Family site). Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Memorials may be given to the family.
