Patti Leigh Fleming Wade Wolfe, age 53, of Bad Axe died unexpectedly, Thursday evening, July 29, at the Huron Medical Center, Bad Axe after a massive heart attack.
She was born December 24, 1950 in Pigeon to the late James and Mildred (Osborne) Fleming.
She was a 1969 graduate of EPBP High School and married the following year.
Patti lived in Huron County most of her life where she was a past member of the Chandler Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed sewing, canning, singing and writing poetry. She especially enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and visiting with family and friends.
Surviving are her companion and friend, Richard Kirsch of Ubly; three children, Tara (Jeff) Lawrence of Pigeon, L. J. Wade and his friend, Christina Furness of Filion and Chancey Wolfe of Elkton; two grandchildren, Brody and Drew; two sisters, Jane (Dave) Patterson of Hemet, CA and Judy (Larry) Rickett of Pigeon; three brothers, Bill Fleming of Bad Axe, Dan (Marcie) Fleming of Novi and Jim (Candy) Fleming of Franklin, TN and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, August 2, at the Community Wesleyan Church, Elkton. Rev. Deweerd Smith, pastor will officiate with burial in Grandlawn Cemetery, Pigeon.
Friends may call at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton from 1 to 8 PM Sunday and at the church after 10 AM Monday.
Memorials may be given to the family.
