Paul E. Bush

Paul E. Bush, 88, of Caseville, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019. Paul graduated from Eastern Michigan University “Normal College) with a B.A. and Master’s Degree. He served honorably in the U.S. Army in France. He married June R. Hornbacher of Sebewaing in November 1955. Through his 35 year career in education he taught, coached, officiated and mentored many students from North Branch, Lapeer, and Imlay City High Schools. Paul even taught students for the US Army in Germany and Italy. After his retirement he shared residences in Caseville and Nokomis, Florida, where he perfected the art of telling stories and studying history.

Paul is survived by his wife June; children Erika (Mike) Delaney of Caledonia and Bennett (Nancy) Bush of Waterford; grandchildren Matthew, Callie and Christopher Delaney and Britton, Rachel and Kyler Bush; and sister Lois (Bob) Brown. He was preceded in death by his sister Betty Bush Johnson and brother J. Robert Bush.

A celebration of life will begin at Noon, Friday, October 11th at Sherwood on the Hill Golf Course in Gagetown.
