Paul Randall Elkins, Jr.

Paul Randall Elkins Jr. of Fairgrove, age 51, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024, at his home. Paul was born February 22, 1973, in Pontiac, the son of Paul R. Elkins Sr. and the late Florence (Woodlock) Elkins. Paul had a passion for cars from an early age and was self-employed for many years working in automotive restoration, later transitioning to a maintenance position at the Fairfield Inn of Frankenmuth. He was a classic Mopar enthusiast. On July 1, 1995, Paul married the love of his life, Kellie, whom he met in elementary school, beginning a journey of over twenty-eight years of shared love, laughter, and companionship. In his spare time, Paul loved watching the Detroit Lions and Michigan Wolverines, traveling to Florida, and going to the junkyard. Paul was always up to “go take a trip”, which usually meant there was yet another car he wanted to go look at! Above all else, Paul cherished time spent with his family and friends and spoiling his granddaughter, Harlow.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Kellie Elkins; a wonderful son, Tyler Elkins; a beautiful granddaughter, Harlow Elkins; an amazing father, Paul R. Elkins, Sr.; two sisters, Cindy Ferguson and her husband, John, and Karen Elkins; and many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Paul’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering is being planned for a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation.
