Paul Arthur Santhany

Paul Arthur Santhany of Caseville, age 75, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025
at his home.

Paul was born on March 20, 1949 in Bad Axe, the son of the late
Nelson “Sonny” and Irene (Soper) Santhany. He graduated from Lakers High
School with the class of 1967. Paul worked for several years for Lake Twp. in the
landscaping and maintenance departments. Paul was a long-time resident of Gotts
Corner, where he was often seen cruising around on his beloved moped. Paul was
the happiest being outdoors, planting huge gardens, and mowing the lawn.
Whether tending to his plants or enjoying the fresh air, Paul found his greatest
happiness in the simple pleasures of life.

Paul is survived by his sister and her husband, Mary and Ed Nicholson; nieces and
their spouses, Wendy and Mark Franks, Heidi and Kirk Histed, Marcy and Heath
Wehrman, and Lisa Santhany; several great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended
family members. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his
brother, Don Santhany and niece, Cheryl (Tim) Lapka.

A graveside service is being planned for the spring at Saint Felix Catholic Cemetery in
Pinnebog. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
