Paul Scott

Paul Jay Scott, age 51, of Dundee, formerly of Fairgrove, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 20, 2011. He was born on January 27, 1960 in Saginaw to Anne (Cook) Scott and the late Morris Scott. Paul grew up in Fairgrove Township and graduated from Akron Fairgrove Schools. After leaving high school, he lived in Caro for some time working at Caro Plastics, and then moved to the southern part of the state, settling in Dundee. On September 13, 1996 he was united in marriage to the former Janelle Sweat in Toledo, Ohio. He was currently employed at Durochers Furniture and Appliance Store as a delivery driver. He enjoyed deer hunting and spending hours on the internet, as well as time spent with his family. He is survived by his wife, Janelle; his children, Anthony, Samantha and Angela Scott; one grandson, Tyler Stowell; his mother, Anne Scott of Fairgrove; three sisters, Diane Scott of Caro, Linda (E. North) Coleman of Ortonville, and Peggy (Tim) Kurzyniec of Attica; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; two aunts, Erma Jean Bohnhoff of Saginaw and Jeanette Cook of Iron Mountain. He was preceded in death by his father and the remainder of his aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro at a later date, which will be announced. Cremation has taken place.
