Paula Fierros

Paula Ann Fierros, age 38 years, of Cass City, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Hills and Dales General Hospital in Cass City. She was born on November 27, 1968 in Saginaw, to Paul and Leona (Sauceda) Fierros. Paula was raised in Caro and was a graduate of Highland Pines School. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and a resident at the Slade Adult Foster Care Home in Cass City. Paula was known for her unique ability to solve puzzles, play games with colors and communicate with sign language. She also had a healthy appetite and enjoyed eating. Paula was a loving daughter and friend, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her parents, Paul and Leona Fierros; her brother, Paul Fierros, Jr. of Caro; her sister, Jessica (Kyle) Trisch of Caro; aunts and uncles, Tanga (Kirk) Hendrickson of Lapeer, Mary (Terry) German, Cepriano Fierros and John Fierros all of Caro, Gonifasio (Sylvia) Fierros of Flint, Jerry (Tammy) Fierros of Fairgrove, Lilly (Marcos) Benavides, Anita Reyes, Virgina Berham, Louis Sauceda, Andrew Sauceda and Patrick Sauceda, all of Bryan, Texas, Larry Sauceda of Caro and Domingo (June) Sauceda of Kalamazoo. Paula was preceded in death by her grandparents, Benito and Angelita Fierros and Ben and Leona Sauceda; and one uncle, Joseph Fierros. The Funeral Liturgy will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Kucharczyk officiating. Following the familys wishes, cremation will take place. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Fierros family discretionary fund, c/o Paul Fierros.
