Pauline Marie Colpitts

Pauline Marie Colpitts, age 97, of Unionville, passed away November 22, 2019, at Agape Care Systems AFC Home in Caro.

Pauline was born May 27, 1922, in Quebec, Canada to Joseph and Marie (Montpetit) Bourgeau. After graduating high school, she married Allen Fletcher Colpitts on December 12, 1942, and they raised 4 children. She enjoyed her winters in Florida with her husband. She also enjoyed visiting with her sisters and being with her family (especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren), going to the cottage, watching the Detroit Redwings, Detroit Tigers, going to the casino, loved her picture taken, and watching her grandchildren play in their sporting events. She was a devout catholic, saying her Rosary every day. Everyone said she was a "nice lady", and will be missed.

Pauline is survived by her 4 children: Dennis (Angela) Colpitts of St. Clair, Valarie (Gary) Ertman of Unionville, Allen (Vicky) Colpitts of Florida and Tommy (Jackie) Colpitts of Macomb; siblings: Irene Warnock, Paul Bourgeau and Marie Marlow; grandchildren: Johnny (Carol) Colpitts, Brandon Lordy, Paula (Dion) VanKehrberg, Dennis (Allyce) Colpitts, Michael (Erica) Ertman, Jeff (Vera) Ertman, Nicole (Brian) Dyer, Shauna (Stefen) Rucins, Kelly (Tyler) Nemens, Sal Colpitts, Michlynne Colpitts; 17 great great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

Pauline is preceded in death by her husband, Allen; grandson, Donald Colpitts; and sisters: Theresa Cudia and Georgette Flood.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Our Lady Consolata Catholic Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at 9am until the time of mass at 11am.

Burial will be private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan.
