Pauline Wallace

Pauline Wallace of Caro, age 90, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 at her home. Pauline was born January 29, 1930 in Almer Township, the daughter of the late William and Ruby (Acker) Bennett. She was united in marriage with Cecil Wallace in 1950 and he preceded her in death in 2013. Pauline was a devoted wife and mother who took great pleasure in being able to be home with her children. She worked hard on the family farm doing whatever was necessary to help her husband. Pauline enjoyed flower gardening, spending time with her family, and the twenty-five winters she spent with Cecil in Florida. Pauline is survived by four children and their spouses, Jim (Tina) Wallace, Marsha (Joe) Helias, Anita (Keith) Davison, Alisa (John) Pollion; nine grandchildren, Keri (Kirk) Murray, Melanie Wallace (Sean Sanford), Jacob Davison, Daniel Pollion, Amanda Wallace, Candice (Brad) White, Adrianne Wallace-Povirk and husband, Gus, Jeff Helias, Aaron (Samantha) Helias; nine great-grandchildren, Christopher Hudson, Abigail, Shiloh and Leah White, Fin Sanford, Anthony, Nicholas, Logan and Annelies Helias; one brother, Orson (Jean) Bennett; one sister-in-law, Arlene Bennett; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Pauline was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Marilyn; and the remainder of her siblings. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Pauline's friend and caregiver, Rene Heckman. A memorial service will be held at a later date with information being added to this website as it becomes available.
