Pearl Maxine Ballou

Pearl Maxine Ballou of Byron Center, formerly of Cadillac and Caro, age 98, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Railside Living Center in Byron Center. Pearl was born November 4, 1920 in Caro, the daughter of the late Earl and Cora (Downing) Schorge. She was united in marriage with Raymond Ballou on April 13, 1946 in Caro, and he preceded her in death in 1985. Pearl is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Lee "Earl" and Robin Ballou of Grand Rapids, two grandsons, Samuel (Renee) and Jacob (Kristin); great-grandchildren, Rylee, Gabe, Brianna, Autumn, Carter and Averie; one brother and sister-in-law, Clayton "Bud" and Karen Schorge; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro. Burial will follow at the Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro.
