Pearl A. Randall, age 76 years, of Mertz Road, Caro, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at her home. She was born on August 1, 1929, in Mayville, to the late James and Iva (Whittenburg) Wells. The former Pearl Wells married Floyd Putnam. After his passing she married Harry Foster who also preceded her in death. On October 4, 2003, she married Walter Randall of Caro. Pearl was a graduate of Mayville High School, as well as a member of the First Baptist Church of Caro. She enjoyed the out-of-doors, sightseeing and traveling, but most of all family gatherings. She was a Farm Bureau member, serving for many years. Pearl is survived by her husband, Walter Randall of Caro; a sister-in-law, Thelma Wells of Juniata; as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by many close friends. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by one son, Lewis Putnam, in 1953; two sisters, Rachel Stebbins and Matie Kinsel; and one brother, Richard Wells. The funeral will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Saturday, May 6, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Dean Bryan, Jim Secord and Mike Hollenbeck co-officiating. Burial will be at Ellington Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Heartland Hospice.
