Peggy Joyce Randall, age 65, of Caro passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011 at Grand Blanc Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Grand Blanc. She was born on July 16, 1945 in Cass City to the late Howard and Leana (Wilder) Asher. Peggy was raised in the First Presbyterian Church of Caro, and graduated from Caro High School. She was united in marriage to Arthur Randall on April 20, 1963 in Sebewaing. Through the years, Peggy was employed by the State of Michigan, but her life revolved around her family and friends. She was a homemaker and a very social person, enjoying chats with most everyone in town. She attended the Caro United Methodist Church in Caro. Peggy loved to help people and received a lot of satisfaction from doing that. Peggy is survived by her husband, Art; her two sons, James Randall of Caro, and Jeff Randall and Tina Shinabarger of Caro; two grandchildren, Crystal (Tim) Scott of St. Helen, and Micah (Megen) Randall of Caro; two great-grandchildren, Callen Scott and Layla Shinabarger; two brothers, Don (Kathleen) Asher of Florida, and Bill Asher of Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Jeffery Allen Randall II. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the Caro United Methodist Church on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jerry Smith officiating. Visitation will be held at the Caro United Methodist Church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Peggy Randall family discretionary fund, c/o Arthur Randall, 302 S. State St., Caro, MI 48723.
