Peggy Jean Sienkiewicz

Peggy Jean Sienkiewicz, 86, of Caseville, died Friday, June 28, 2013 at her home while under hospice care.

Peggy was born April 1, 1927 in Detroit to the late Clarence and Elaine (Skirvin) Gaugh. She married Henry Sienkiewicz on November 15, 1947 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Detroit. He preceded her in death on December 24, 1999.

She worked for Chrysler before staying at home to raise her family. She moved from Clawson to Lake Township in 1980. She was a member of the Caseville Eagles Auxiliary and Caseville Library Club, where she enjoyed playing cards.

Peggy is survived by her children Michael (Karen) of Ocala, Florida, Mark (Sherry) of Maple City, Gary of Caseville and Pamela (Don) Colasanti of Sterling Heights; grandchildren Michael Jr., Brian, Kevin, Dawn, Heather, Jenny, and DJ; and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by all of her siblings: Helen Triltsch, Mary Wright, Albert Gaugh, Clarence Gaugh, and Robert Taylor.

Funeral services will be private with interment in Riverside Cemetery in Elkton.
