Peter A. Favazza

Peter A Favazza, 98, of Sand Point, MI, died peacefully, Friday, May 14, 2021.
Peter was born in Detroit on June 6, 1922 to the late Liborio and Grace Favazza. He married Della Patykowski on June 2, 1951 in Dearborn, MI; after 69 years of marriage she preceded him in death on January 9, 2020. He served as a pilot in the US Naval Air Corp during WWII. He graduated from The University of Detroit and worked at the Ford Motor Company, Tractor Division as an engineer for 45 years. He split his time between Sand Point and Boca Raton, Florida. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish and the Knights of Columbus. Peter loved to golf and enjoyed building model boats.
Peter is survived by his children Patricia (John) Ladd and Thomas (Nimoza); grandchildren Bryan (Jenna), Steven (Lauren), Nathan (Brittany), Lauren and Peter; Great-grandchildren Evan, Kara, Lucy and Alyssa; sisters Rosemary Hally and Ann Marie Trombley and brother Sal Favazza.

There will be a private funeral at St. Mary of the Snows in Milford. Interment will be in St. Roch Cemetery, Caseville.
