Phyllis Patricia Brinkman

Phyllis Montague Brinkman of Caro, age 86, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Covenant Health Care - Harrison in Saginaw. Phyllis was born March 6, 1931 in Caro, the daughter of the late Carl and Nellie (Beardsley) Montague. She was employed for many years in the Personnel Department of the Caro Regional Center. Phyllis enjoyed knitting, playing cribbage and piano, ballroom dancing and traveling. She adored her grandchildren and cherished time spent with them. Phyllis is survived by three children and their spouses, Michael & Cindy Brinkman, Steve & Jean Brinkman, Sherry & Mike Henry, all of Caro; five grandchildren and their spouses, Michele Tolfree of Munger, Tara & Jake Guigear of Mt. Morris, Breana & Cody Sehl of Caro, Andrea Henry of Mt. Pleasant, Austin Henry of Caro; four great-grandchildren, Carter, Noah, Adalynn and Eve; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death one grandson, Christopher Brinkman; and one brother, Theron Montague. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating.
