Priscilla Lord

Priscilla J. Lord, age 84 years, of Gilford Road, Caro, went to be with her Lord on October 25, 2005, while a patient at St. Marys of Michigan in Saginaw. The former Priscilla J. Swick was born on August 17, 1921, in Detroit. Her family moved from down river to Sault Ste. Marie when she was five years of age. She graduated high school in Sault Ste. Marie. Pricilla Swick and Robert Stanley Lord were united in marriage, and he preceded her in death in 1973. She moved to Caro in December of 1962 and has lived here since. Priscilla was active in the Caro V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #4164, Caro Eagles Aerie 3587, the American Legion Post #7 and the Tuscola County Polish American Club. She was an Episcopalian. Priscilla enjoyed playing and running Bingo games, playing pool, and trips to the Casino. She is survived by nine children and their spouses, Paul (Louise) Moore of Caro, Patrick (Linda) Moore of Caro, Alice Keilitz of Caro, Carol Gatlin of Clio, Robert Lord Jr. and Sandra of Flint, Mary L. (Richard) Kinyon of Rochester, NY, Charles Lord of Saginaw Township, Albert Lord of Caro, and Victor (Debra) Lord of Saginaw Township; 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gail (Robert) Halm of Walworth, N.Y. and Nancy Lawrie of Caro; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Arthur H. Lord on September 30, 2002; and her remaining siblings, brothers - Robert, Richard and Charles Swick; sisters, Betty Vincent, Maggie Couvier and Shirley Weeks. The funeral service will be held: AT: Collon Funeral Home in Caro ON: Saturday, October 29, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. WITH: Rev. Ken Anderson, First Congregational Church in Saginaw, Officiating Burial will be: AT: Indianfields Township Cemetery Visitation will be: AT: Collon Funeral Home in Caro ON: Thursday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. AND: Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. AND: Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Caro V.F.W. Post #4164 or the Caro Eagles Aerie #3587.
