Ralph R. Posade

Ralph “Bud” Posade, 84, of Elkton, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at Huron County Medical Care in Bad Axe.

Bud was born January 19, 1938 in Oliver Twp to the late Berthold and Elsie (Forster) Posade. Bud was a farmer and retired from a factory. He enjoyed spending time outdoors at his cabin in Grayling where he snowmobiled, hunted and watched elk. He enjoyed singing during car rides with his dogs while touring the crops.

Bud is survived by his wife Luci; children Lisa (Kevin) Ziel of Pigeon, Tracey (Mike) Betteridge of Elkton and Mark (Miles Ramsdill) of Auburn; grandchildren Ashley (Kevin) Kreh, Caleigh (Dave Robins) Rasmussen, Sydney (Tyrone Booker) Rasmussen, Kyra Betteridge, and Tori Betteridge; great-grandchildren Trey, Gage, and Peyton; sister Sharon Nehring of Elkton; nieces and nephews Patti (Ron) Damm, Kathy (Randy) Konieczny, Steve (Martha) Walsh, Dave Walsh, Lori (Jeff) Rifenbark, and Julie (Mike) Wiederhold. He was preceded in death by his sister Ruth Walsh and nephew Tim Walsh.

There will be no public services. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
