Randall Scott Matthews

Randall Scott Matthews, age 36, of Akron, passed away suddenly Saturday, November 10, 2019 from an automobile accident.

Randy was born August 26, 1983, in Bad Axe, the son of John and Christina (Fibranz) Matthews. He graduated in 2001 from Unionville-Sebewaing Area Schools and attended 2 years of college. He worked as a Journeyman Electrician Programmer for Michigan Sugar Company in Sebewaing. He enjoyed snowmobiling, golfing, riding dirt bikes, tinkering, and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Randy is survived by his parents: John and Christina Matthews; children: Tyler, Anna and Macey Matthews; siblings: Timothy (Joanna) Matthews and Ashley Matthews; nieces, Nora and Eleanor Matthews; and close friend, Jenny Matthews.

The funeral service will be Friday, November 15, 2019, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Unionville. Visitation will begin at the church at 9am until the time of service at 11am.

After the service, a celebration of life will be held at the Gateway Sportsmen's Club in Unionville.
