Randall Elie Thibodeaux of Saginaw, age 63, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Randall was born October 22, 1959, in Church Point, Louisiana, the son of the late Arnold and Leota (Guidry) Thibodeaux. Growing up in Church Point, Randall served as an altar boy at the Catholic church and was a member of the local Boy Scout troop. He attended Church Point High School, and in his youth enjoyed singing and playing the triangle and harmonica. Randall loved all things Cajun French; he could often be found singing in French, dancing to Cajun music, cooking Cajun food, and enjoying the traditional Mardi Gras. Later in life, he loved sharing these traditions with his children and teaching them about their roots. After high school, Randall worked on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico before a gas exposure accident that left him unable to work. In 2001, Randall moved to Michigan to be closer to his children. His children and grandchildren were his life, his whole heart and soul. His faith and family were incredibly important to him, and he will be missed dearly. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Hannah Thibodeaux, Ashley Thibodeaux and her husband, Joshua Hinkle, and Timothy Thibodeaux and his wife, Chelsea Thibodeaux; his siblings and their spouses, Eddie & Sandra Thibodeaux, and Cheryl Olivier; seven grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, Randall was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Patrick Olivier; and his mother-in-law, Janet Force. In keeping with Randall's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the family, c/o Ashley Thibodeaux, 205 West Sherman Street, Caro, MI 48723.
