Randolph Lee Emery

Randolph Lee Emery of Lakeland, Florida, formerly of Frankenmuth, age 61, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at his home in Lakeland, Florida. He was born January 29, 1954 in Caro, the son of Richard and Dolores (Wisniewski) Emery. Randolph graduated from Frankenmuth High School in 1974, and worked at Zehnder's Restaurant in Frankenmuth and later at the IGA Store for several years. He then went to work at the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island during the summers, and worked winters in Key West, Florida. Randolph decided to stay in Florida where he held several different jobs before taking an early disability retirement. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Dolores Emery of Caro; one brother, Terry Emery and his wife, Maria, of Frankenmuth; one sister, Lisa Nusz and her husband, Todd, of Akron; four nieces, Falon, Holly, Alicia and Chelsea; one nephew, Brad; and nine grand-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Gregory Emery on March 10, 2010. In keeping with Randolph's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Chris Taylor officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Bethesda Home in Frankenmuth.
