Raymond O'Parka

Raymond O'Parka age 84, of Elkton died Sunday afternoon, March 20 at his home while under hospice care.
He was born March 12, 1921 at the home of his parent, the late Stanley and Tillie (Ertman) O'Parka in Paris Twp.
Ray lived in Huron County all of his life. He stayed with Steve and Marie Peca family for over thirty years and with the Gerald and Carol Kaufman family the past fifteen years.
He had enjoyed farming, gardening and working in the yard, he also enjoyed ice fishing and having his cats around.
Surviving are his adopted family, Gerald and Carol Kaufman of Elkton and their children, Sherry Machowicz, Kara and Trisha, Tina (Jay) Weigand, Kaitlyn and Tristia, Marie (Frank) Shivley, Gala and Paige and Steve Kaufman. Also surviving is his sister, Leona Peplinski of Parisville.
A mass will be conducted at St Mary's Catholic Church, Parisville with burial in the church cemetery.
