Raymond Theodore Slaght

Raymond Theodore Slaght of Caro, age 57, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, June 1, 2020. Ray was born October 17, 1962 in Detroit, the son of the late Clarence & Phyllis (Cunningham) Slaght. He was united in marriage with the former Linda Jackson on June 6, 2014 in Warren, and she survives. Ray was currently employed in the maintenance department for Regency Plastics in Ubly. He understood the value of many items and had a knack for finding just the right buyer for his treasures. Ray's spare time was often spent watching police shows, camping, hunting, fishing, or just having a good conversation on his porch. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda Slaght; daughter, Raquelle LaBlanc of Florida; a brother and his wife, John & Betty Slaght of North Carolina; step-children, Layla, Nadia, Hassan, Adam, Majid, and Shadiyah Jackson; and many grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by a stepson, Mirad Jackson. In keeping with Ray's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned at this time.
