Rebecca Anne Baker-Olson

Rebecca Anne Baker-Olson, 46, of Harbor Beach, formerly of Caseville, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at McLaren Port Huron.

Rebecca was born December 12, 1971 in Howell to Donald Ousley and the late Patricia Baker.  She graduated from Caseville High School and later earned her Master’s Degree.  She married Eric Olson on October 31, 2015 in Kalamazoo.  She was a creative writer, artist and publicist.  She enjoyed amateur geology, ghost hunting and spending time with her grandchildren.

Rebecca is survived by her husband Eric; children Tyler (Ashley) Chandler and MacKenzie Chandler, both of Bay Port; step-children Rainy Shelton-McDonough, Elissa Groe and Brittany Kozlowski and grandchildren Sophia and Corbin.  She was preceded in death by her step-son Garion Shelton.

A celebration of her life will begin at noon on Saturday, June 16 ^th at 512 State Street, Harbor Beach.  Please wear bright colors, no black for the celebration.  Donations can be made to the family at the address listed above.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
