Rebecca Elizabeth Wiederhold

Rebecca E. Wiederhold, 56, of Elkton, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc Twp.

Rebecca was born February 5, 1965 in Bad Axe to Fanny (Soule) and the late Mike Babiszewski. On May 7, 1982 she married John Wiederhold in Bad Axe, together they made their home in Elkton. They worked together at their shop, J&B Body Shop, until retiring in 2015. She attended Elkton Community Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs and family. She would put a smile on anyone’s face she met.

Rebecca is survived by her daughter Alicia (fiancé Nikki Mergucz) of Bad Axe; mother Fanny Nieschulz of Bad Axe; siblings Nola (Tim) Powell of Ohio, Michelle (John) Shields of New Zealand, Andrea (Ron) Kirkpatrick of Kinde, Robert (Barb) Babiszewski of Ubly, Ramona (Doug) Wallace of Davison and Kendra (Chris) Mathews of Clarkston; and boyfriend David Sanders of Elkton. She was preceded in death by her husband John, and brothers Tom and Rick Babiszewski.

A memorial service will be 2:00pm Wednesday, January 26th at the Elkton Community Wesleyan Church with Rev. Ean Green officiating. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be Noon until the service time at church.
