Rebeccah Marie "Beccah" Hood

Rebeccah Marie Hood of Cass City, age 31, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Hunt Home Adult Foster Care in Cass City, following a lingering illness. Known by family and friends as Beccah, she was born September 10, 1991 in Saginaw and was a 2009 graduate of Hemlock High School. She enjoyed shopping, music, animals, crafts, bowling, swimming, and being outdoors, especially trips to the park. More than anything, she adored her family and cherished time spent with them. Left to cherish Beccah's memory are her mother, Tracey Szuran of Saginaw; siblings, Ramanda Hood of Birch Run, Andrew Szuran of Saginaw; grandparents, Dennis & Barb Henry, and Dianne Whittaker; aunts and uncles, Trina & Jason Rushing, Ryan & Holly Henry, Randy & Kelly Whittaker, Trevor & April Henry, Miranda & Matt Duffield; great-grandmother, Betty Weber; and many cousins. Beccah was preceded in death by her grandfather, Randy Whittaker; aunt, Christine Hoppe; great-grandparents, William Weber, Stanley & Gerry Henry. Beccah's family would like to extend their most sincere thanks to the Fulton family, Hunt Home and Covenant VNA Hospice for their loving and compassionate care. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 1, 2023 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating.
