Reginald Lee "Reggie" Broadworth

Reginald Lee Broadworth of Unionville, formerly of Caro, age 40, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 19, 2013 at his residence. Reginald Broadworth was born October 27, 1972 in Caro, the son of Roger and Joann (Rendon) Broadworth. He was a 1991 graduate of Caro High School and was employed at Grede Foundry in Vassar. On November 15, 2007, he was united in marriage with the former Kristy Flikkie in Caro. Reginald entered an apprenticeship and became a Journeyman Lineman, working out of IBEW Local #1393. He was a member of the Caro Moose Lodge #1049 and enjoyed the out-of-doors, where he was a hunter and fisherman. In addition to his wife, Kristy, he is survived by six children, Joelle Avery of Caro, Jordon Broadworth of Caro, Trenton Broadworth of Caro, Andru Jackson, Avery Jackson and Reina Broadworth, all at home; one grandson, Cruz Broadworth of Mayville; his grandmother, Maxine Martin of Bay City; his parents, Joann Broadworth of Caro, Roger & Dorothy Broadworth of Caro; his siblings and their spouses, Ann Marie & Raymond Kwiatkowski of Ubly, Roger & Paula Broadworth of Kilmanagh, Ed Deming of Lapeer, Heather & Doug Weaver of Bay City, Chris Deming of Caro; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Susan & Rob Downing of Caro, and Mark & Debra Flikke of Caro; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his remaining grandparents, Reymundo & Esther Rendon, Ralph Broadworth and Harley Martin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Dennis Kucharczyk officiating. The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Caro.
