Renee Joy Bills

Renee Joy Bills, age 64, of Sebewaing, passed away August 31, 2024 at her home on hospice care after a long battle with kidney disease.

Renee was born in Bay City on February 19, 1960, to Richard and Donna (Kemp) Parsell. She graduated from Unionville-Sebewaing Area High School in 1978.On October 21, 1978, she married Mark W. Bills at Trinity United Methodist Church in Sebewaing. He preceded her in death on September 27, 2019. She graduated with an Associate's Degree in Medical Insurance Billing and Coding in 2008. She was a crossing guard for Christ the King Lutheran School in Sebewaing for over 20 years. She enjoyed homeschooling her children, sewing, swimming, talking on the phone, her pets, and baking with her grandchildren.

Renee is survived by her three boys: Matthew (Sarah) Bills, Jared (Ashley) Bills and Joshua (Vera) Bills, all of Sebewaing; mother, Donna Parsell; grandchildren: Brooklyn, Owen, Carter, Blaine and Isabella.

Renee is preceded in death by her husband, Mark; father, Richard; daughter, Melissa; and in-laws: Keith and Wanda Bills.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers, Rebecca and Missy.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-8pm.

Memorial donations may be given to Christ the King Lutheran School (for the lunch program).
