Rex Biebel

Rex E. Biebel, age 66, of Watrousville passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at St. Marys of Michigan in Saginaw, following a brief illness. He was born on August 6, 1945 in Cass City, the son of the late Elmer M. and Elsie (McLaughlin) Biebel. Rex was united in marriage with the former Rae Ann Sipes on February 20, 1971 in Watrousville. He was employed with General Cable from 1964 until 1977, serving with the U.S. Army in Viet Nam from 1967 until 1969. Upon his return, he went to work for the State Liquor Control in 1977 for the next twenty years. He then started a cleaning business in 1998 until 2002 and also did shop work at Loundon Steel in Millington from 1998 until 2000. He attended the Watrousville United Methodist Church. During his free time, Rex enjoyed working on and modifying his cars, hunting, camping, and playing with his children. Rex is survived by his wife of over forty years, Rae Ann Biebel of Watrousville; their five children and their spouses, Laura & Gary Powell of Fairgrove, Rex & Amy Biebel, Jr. of Caro, Katherine Biebel and her friend Todd Gooding of Ohio, Carl Biebel and his fianc
