Rhodora "Ging" Loo, Ot

Rhodora "Ging" Loo of Caro, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro. Ging was born August 20, 1948 in Cotabato, Philippines, the daughter of the late Domingo & Francisca (Coloma) Guerrero. She was a practicing physician in pathology in the Philippines before coming to Caro, where she has resided for nearly forty years. Ging took time off from medicine to raise her two daughters, but later returned to school to receive her degree in occupational therapy, and was employed at Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems. She was passionate about gardening and china painting, and was a master gardener with the Caro Garden Club, a member of the Galloway Porcelain Art Club and St. Christopher Parish, Sacred Heart Church in Caro. Ging is survived by her husband, Dr. Dante Loo of Caro; two daughters and their husbands, Laura & Lucas Miller of Culver City, California; Lorna & Clint Rhine of Williamsburg, Virginia; four grandchildren, Cecilia, Stan, Madeleine, Penelope "Peep"; close friends, Vic & Maria Guzman of Caro, Deo & Elizabeth from Florida; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at St. Christopher Parish, Sacred Heart Church in Caro with Rev. Jerzy Dobosz officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. A Rosary Service will be held on Monday at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Caro Garden Club.
