Rhonda Lynn Southgate

Rhonda Lynn Southgate, age 50, of Unionville, passed away July 6, 2017, in the comfort of her own home.

Rhonda was born June 6, 1967, in Madison Heights to Holmes and Joyce (MacConnel) Packard. She married Jeffrey Southgate on June 25, 1988. She worked as a teacher's aide in the past and as a crossing guard for USA Schools and part-time at the Michigan Sugar Company during the campaign in Sebewaing. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, camping, being outdoors and crafting.

Rhonda is survived by her husband, Jeff Southgate; children: Lacy Southgate of Mt. Pleasant and Courtney Southgate of Unionville; father, Dave Packard; sister, Rena Lorenz of Sebewaing; brothers and sisters-in-law: Jerry (Diane) Southgate, Judy (Dean) Bush and Jay Southgate; and many nieces and nephews.

Rhonda is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Packard; brother-in-law, Scott Lorenz; sister-in-law, Jackie Southgate; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Tuck and Elizabeth Southgate.

Visitation will take place on Monday, July 10, 2017, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Sebewaing from 4-8pm.

The service will be Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Trinity United Methodist Church. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will be at Assembly of God Cemetery in Sebewaing.
