Richard Lynn Cross

Richard Lynn Cross of Caro, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Covenant Health Care - Harrison in Saginaw. Richard was born September 25, 1948 in Cass City, the son of the late Donald and Bertha (Esckilson) Cross. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War with the U.S. Navy, until his honorable discharge in 1974. Richard was employed with General Motors for fifteen years from 1976 through 1991 and went on to work security at Kewadin Casino in St. Ignace for ten years. He was a member of the American Legion and participated in many motorcycle runs. He was an avid Euchre player, loved wolves, dream catchers and riding. Most importantly, he loved his family. Richard is survived by four children and their spouses, Rick & Andrea Fox, Ryan & Annette Fox, Mandy Cross and fiance, Jason Heiler, and Shanna Cross; six grandchildren, Abby, Dystiny, Megan, Akiera, TayShaun and Jasie; three great-grandchildren, Emma, Maddox and Casey; four sisters, Jeannette, Donna, Betty and Diane; three brothers, Dennis, Larry and Joe; and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Richard's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family remembrance will be held at a later date.
