Richard Orlin Fisher

Richard O. Fisher, 78, of Caseville, died Sunday, January 22, 2012 at his home.

Dick was born August 5, 1933 in Detroit to the late Lester and Esther (Chamberlain) Fisher. On December 8, 1984 he married Charlene K. Manis at her parents home in Detroit. He was employed at Chrysler in Detroit as an electrician. He moved from Detroit to Caseville in 1992.

He was a proud Golden Eagle at the Caseville Eagles and a member and trustee of the Caseville Rod and Gun Club. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and spending time with his dogs. He enjoyed teaching others hunter safety.

He is survived by his wife Charlene; children Richard (Donna) Fisher, Jeannine (Steve) Johnson and Julie (Greg) Anderson, all of Ohio, Helen (N.D.) Gnower of North Carolina, Edwin (Melissa) Tilkins of Beaverton, Debra (Randy) Eschenburg of New Baltimore, Katherine (Bill) Warren of Davison, Robert (Mary) Tilkins of Fostoria, John (Mandy) Tilkins of Stockbridge and Michael (Callie) Tilkins of Capac; 29 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and a sister Jeannine Berringer of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his brother John Haskell.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville.

Visitation will be 10 to 2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
