Richard Alan Hopkins

Richard Alan Hopkins Jr., 55, of Caseville, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe from Huntington’s Chorea.

Richard was born November 23, 1968 in Warren to the late Richard and Karen (Arbaugh) Hopkins.  He graduated from high school in Madison Heights.  He married Deborah K. Warren at Hayes United Methodist Church in 2002.  Richard worked at Gascho Furniture, Tower Automotive and had his own window washing business.  He was a member of Hayes United Methodist Church, Caseville Eagles Club and the Caseville Fire Department. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed camping and riding jet skis, playing cards and was a proud stay at home Dad.

He is survived by his wife Deborah; children Emma, Audrey and Logan, all at home; half brother Gerald; nephews Gage and Anthony and niece Jessica.  He was preceded in death by his sister Sharon.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
