Richard Paul Krape

Richard P. Krape, 89, of Caseville, died Monday, December 30, 2013 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.

Richard was born May 7, 1924 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to the late Luther and Anna Krape. He served in the US Army during World War II in the European Theater. He retired from Chrysler Corporation as an aeronautical engineer in 1980. In the mid-1990's he moved from Washington Twp to Port Austin, and then about 5 years ago moved to Caseville. He enjoyed golfing and fishing.

He is survived by his daughter Karole (Mike) Przybrowski of Pennsylvania, Richard of Colorado, and Barbara Krape of Washington Twp; grandchildren Jason, Nikki, Monique, and Karina; great-granddaughter Daylia; and friend and care giver Tricia Ewald.

No funeral services will be held. Memorials in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
