Richard Kenneth Pineau, 86, of Caseville passed away Monday, March 2, 2020 in McLaren Thumb Region Hospital.

Dick was born at home on February 7, 1934 in East Detroit to the late James and Maria (Simmons) Pineau. He served in the US Army in the Korean War. He married Dolores Meador on May 30, 1958 at St. Veronica Catholic Church in East Detroit.

He retired from City of Roseville DPW in 1991 and moved to Caseville. He was a life member of the St. Clair Shores VFW 1146 and a member of the Caseville Eagles 3690.

Dick is survived by his wife Dolores; his children James (Susan) of St. Clair Shores, Richard of Roseville, Peter (Linda) of Port Austin, Linda Allor of Detroit; grandchildren Angie, Jimmy (Amber), Peter, Patricia, Richard, Gerald, and Linda Faye; great-grandchildren Madison, Clare, Adriannah, and Dixie; and sister Jean Hupp of Marysville. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Jennifer Gubin and sisters Florence Tater and Doris Modrzijekski.

There will be a memorial reception beginning at 1:00pm Friday, March 6th at the Caseville Eagles Club. Urn interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
