Richard S. Ross

Richard S. Ross, age 84, of Sebewaing, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016, at his home.

Richard was born in Warren, Michigan, son of the late Stephen and Genevieve (Derengowski) Ross. He married Mitsue Wakasugi on April 8, 1957, in Sapporo, Japan. Richard served his career in the U.S. Airforce and was honorably discharged from the as a CMSGT. He was a devoted University of Michigan Football fan. He was also a past member of the Sebewaing Lions Club, Sebewaing American Legion Post #293 and Sebewaing VFW Post #4115.

Richard is survived by his son, Gerald Ross of Sebewaing; brother, Gerald Ross; and sister, Patricia Longuski.

Richard is preceded in death by his wife, Mitsue, on Nov. 11, 2006; his son, James Ross; and daughter, Amy Ross.

Cremation has taken place and no services will be held per his wishes.
