Richard E. Shaw, Sr.

Richard E. Shaw, Sr. of Caro, formerly of Cass City, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 13, 2019 at his home. Richard was born August 2, 1943 in Detroit, the son of the late Merrill G. and Irene L. (Shuler) Shaw. He enjoyed playing pool, fishing, photography, and shooting the breeze with anyone he ran into. He is survived by his children, Jeff Shaw of Florida, Beth Tudor, Laura Brown (Ray), Rochelle Moll (Chuck), Richard Shaw, Jr. (Brandy), Shawn Shaw (Tiffany), and Tiffany Shaw (Steve), all of Michigan; thirteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. In keeping with Richard's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering to celebrate Richard's life will be held at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. A luncheon will follow at the Garden Gate Vacation and Event House, 421 West Sherman Street, Caro, MI 48723.
